Taylor Wall

Workplace

A lifelong dancer, Taylor started ballroom dancing with the U of MN Ballroom Dance Club. She's been volunteering in the dance community for five years. She oversees production of Sheer Dance from beginning to end each month, working closely with the acquisitions and editing teams to craft an exciting and interesting magazine you can look forward to each month. Designer

Olivia Wicker

Workplace

Olivia is a graphic designer in Minneapolis with a background in exercise and wellness. She received her MA in graphic design from the University of Minnesota in 2020, focusing her studies on data visualization and using design to help people build healthier behaviors. She enjoys being outside and enjoying the sunshine, painting, making up new recipes, and social dancing, and she is a life-long martial artist. She develops the layouts, graphic elements, and style of Sheer Dance and guides creative decisions for the team.

Theresa Kimler

Workplace

A seven - time USA Dance Open American Smooth Champion, nine - time Open Rhythm Champion, and four - time Nine - Dance champion, Theresa is an undisputed long - standing champion of dance. Theresa is a mechanical engineer by education, Project Manager by trade, and owner of Total Project Consulting, who enjoys the company of quadrupeds. Theresa graciously lends her expertise to Sheer Dance for the betterment of the dance community as our Subscriptions Coordinator.

Acquisitions Editor

Alexzandra Enger

Workplace

When she's not busy dancing, volunteering, or studying, Alex will likely be found-coffee in hand spending time with her friends, conquering video games, discovering new music, and whipping up delicious meals and desserts. She wants to travel the world, dance as often as she can, and be happy. As Acquisitions Editor of Sheer Dance, Alex is responsible for gathering all content for the magazine. Andre Hardy

Workplace

Andre Hardy is a sophomore at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, double-majoring in Theatre Arts and Journalism with minors in Music and Creative Writing. He began dancing junior year of high school as dance captain in the school's musicals and began ballroom dance in his freshman year of college. During the little free time he has, Andre enjoys cooking, writing plays, and watching trashy reality television. H's super excited to join the Sheer team as a copy editor and help support the wonderful world of dance.

Jonathan Wolfgram

Workplace

Jonathan is a committed amateur dancer and serves the Sheer team as Advertising Editor and as a recurring columnist. Although his athletic background is in martial arts, he fell in love with dance when he moved to the Twin Cities and joined the University of Minnesota Ballroom Dance Club Competition Team his freshman year. He now works as a financial planner, is the CEO of a growing charity, and is continually excited to apply himself to helping the greater ballroom dance community.

Emily Pofahl

Workplace

Emily Pofahl is a junior at the University of Minnesota, double-majoring in Journalism and Theatre Arts. Emily started dancing at the age of three as physical therapy, and never stopped. In her free time, she reads, makes coffee, and spends time with friends. Emily is so excited to join Sheer’s team, and is grateful for how much the experience is teaching her about professional journalism.

Uzo Wamuo

Workplace

Uzo Wamuo is a student at the University of Minnesota with a Neuroscience major and a Spanish minor. He is on the University of Minnesota Ballroom Dance Competition Team and is an avid dancer who loves going out for social dances and meeting new people. Uzo was born and raised in Plymouth, MN with his parents, his older brother and twin brother and enjoys spending his past time playing piano, cooking, and playing video games.

Isabella Armour

Workplace

Isabella is an alumna of the University of Minnesota Ballroom Dance Club Competition Team and now competes in West Coast Swing and on the WDSF amateur circuit in International Standard. Beyond dancing, Isabella enjoys reading, writing, and botany. She is very excited to be a part of the Sheer team as the Community Correspondent and hopes to help the ballroom dance community become more accessible and inviting to all people!
